Individual/ Group Mentoring

JYS provides supportive educational services through its mentorship program to assist youth with personal and social skill development. Our supportive educational services are offered onsite and offsite, as well as planned social-outing activities. We infuse mentoring in our tutoring services, one-on-one mentoring and small group social interaction mentoring to teach life skills development.

Our strategies of the mentoring program focus on creating individualized plans that address our mentees’ challenging life circumstances and create realistic academic and life goals with each individual. We first assess the individual’s needs, then tailor support services to ensure their social, emotional and other life challenges support needs are met.
