Housing Support Systems
Our Housing Support System provides interdependent support services, primarily, to aid aged-out foster care youth with enhancing their life’s goal of higher education and self-efficacy.
Youth homelessness form the 23% of homeless people in the District of Columbia. JYS aims to bridge the gap between Age Out of Foster Care youth homelessness and their barriers to academic success. This serves as in an effort to meet the need of integrated safety, housing stability, the well-being, and higher educational success among the adolescents between the ages 18-24 years old.
