Jules Youth Services (JYS) is primarily a District of Columbia community-based company that provides supplemental services to at-risk youth and young adults, as well as individuals who age-out of foster care and families.We take the time to develop a curriculum based on each of our programs in the effort to best services our clients in their area of needs. This is achieved from a strength-based approach with dignity and respect for children and their family.

Learners
We approach each individual child with a sense of purpose, autonomy, integrity, identity and tolerance, in a caring, yet self-empowered environment that leads to impactable results for our clients. We assess each student, develop a working alliance, and model appropriate behavior for our students. We use a meticulous process in hiring high qualifying tutors then match our students’ learning styles with a tutor of complemented styles, and who is able to communicate effectively with the tutees.
Education
Educational background both credible and of relevance. Our extensive expertise and our commitment to have access to equal opportunity and quality education. We evolve our services by staying relevant with current school's curriculum in effort to meet the need of our students. JYS works in collaboration with teachers to support students ' academic needs.
Eco-System
JYS's team is dedicated in teaming and working in collaboration with each child’s family and other service providers to meet each child’s need and goals. We believe in the importance of diversity in many forms and are guided by mutual trust, and respect, accountability to one another as we demonstrate a shared sense of mission and purpose. JYS provides services to youth in the District of Columbia who are potentially at-risk of academic failure, truancy, juvenile delinquency, abused, neglected, mental health, child welfare involvement. JYS provides parental/guardian's support services to best serve the child. JYS serves children from age 10 to adults age 24 years old who are referred by a service agency, school and/or other care service providers.
